Our vast
numbers and decreasing space push us closer and closer together like rats
in some hideous experiment. A general feeling of emptiness and worthlessness
is created in us. We do not belong to anything nor do we have any unique
identity. We are lost in a sea of people ... faceless, nameless. All of
us struggling to have some unique identity, to be "Special". But
no one seems to care. How can any of us possibly live up to the images of
life which we watch every day on TV? We are bombarded by images that confuse
us and create in us unrealistic expectations which we can never attain.
We are a castrated society.
