One time, a long time
ago, I had the opportunity to buy a Porsche. I got behind the wheel of that
car and was amazed at the quickness and power. I told the guy that I would
think it over, but I was pretty damn sure I would be calling back the next
day to close the deal. That night I had one of the most terrible, vivid
nightmares of my life. I was driving that car at breakneck speed. From nowhere
some other car slammed into me from the right and I went flying, almost
in slow motion, through the windshield of that Porsche. I remember the glass
was like a fine mist of crystal shards as I passed through to the other
side. I decided not to buy the car. It's interesting to note that I drew
much of this image out with my eyes closed, scribbling furiously.
