This is one of the few, if not the only, requests for a painting that I ever agreed to. My long time friend Patrick Collins asked me to paint this for a friend of his as a favor. That friend I never met ... For all I know, this piece now being shown daily to the moths in some dark closet. However, it was for Patrick that I painted the painting.

Some of you may know him. He is famous in certain circles, (as he is infamous in some) ... He's the flamboyant owner of Elegant Angel Video productions.

Pat has always been sexually obsessed ... Come to think of it ... he's just plain obsessed, PERIOD! Becoming one of the kings of the sex industry was a natural for him.

Voted most likely in our 'continuation school' to fail miserably, or succeeded beyond us all ... he has done both, many times. My fellow G.E.D. graduate has been a drunkard, a drug addict, a sinner, almost a saint, a multimillionaire several times lost and born again ... and probably the most ethical individual I know. That is, when he's not within his unethical persona. Pat has died and come back to life. He was the only one to come and visit me in Heroin rehab, and he drove 500 miles just to spend 30 minutes trying to let me know he gave a shit. The truly amazing thing about Pat is that he is a true believer in 'belief' as an unstoppable tool. He has believed that he will succeed, and he has succeeded far beyond normal men. He has believed in failure, and has seen the depths of failure that few men can even imagine ...

He is a good man. He is one of the few individuals who I truly consider a friend.
