Fear and anger ...

These are emotions which are married. From fear springs anger, and from anger, hate.

All three are here depicted on one face.

Humankind is conditioned from childhood to fear what we do not understand. Rather than attempt to analyze or use reason to understand new ideas or situations we tend to become fearful of anything out of the ordinary. Once we become fearful of something or someone the next step down is a reaction of anger. You fear a harmless spider, so you kill it. The power you feel by killing the spider becomes part of your justification for needlessly taking it's life. This is an overcompensation of an emotion we are afraid to understand. You are more powerful, and so it was "right" to kill it! And besides, it was invading your space! ... not to mention the thing was fucking ugly.

And so the Nazis were NOT afraid of the Jews and the whites are not afraid of the blacks and the blacks were never afraid of the Orientals ... etc., etc. ... As long as we can locate something or someone weaker to take out out fear upon, we will never need to admit to it.

It's all territorial aggression ... the never ending fight for our 'space'. But we are running out of fucking space. The ironic thing is that by making ourselves into enemies through our fear and anger we ultimately serve our own downfall. We end up shitting on what space we have!

If we continue to fight amongst ourselves our technologies will kill us.
